Tal Catran (Israel)
Building a Successful Startup
Founding a startup can be considered as the riskiest job on earth. Statistics show you will attempt to run a business with over 95% chances it will fail. A startup usually begins with people that are low on resources, time and patience. They share a vision and a spark, but lack the tool box to materialize them.
Tal will share his experiences and hard earned tips, how to get a head start and beat the odds.
Tal Catran - an angel investor in technology startups, as well as chairman and director in a variety of companies and startups. He spends his time giving professional lectures and workshops on monetizing and commercializing to government offices, specifically to economic ministries
Building on his experience, he gives lectures regarding the Startup Nation’s Eco-System, presenting a wide overview of the entrepreneurial challenges in making dreams a reality. Molded by the era of accelerators, incubators, startups, founders, angel investors, VC and everything in between he lays out the groundwork in paving the money brick road to success.
Tal is the undoubted Accelerator Guru in Israel - he has founded and mentored 6 Israeli accelerators and will keep on doing this also in the future. He mentors accelerators also in the Baltic states: Startupsmartguys in Estonia and Techhub in Latvia and Lithuania.
He was one of the speakers of the Login festival 2016 in Lithuania
